Asia Optical stated that it will continue to advance three major development opportunities, including the full-scale promotion of humanoid robot lenses, accelerating the research and development of augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), Metalens advanced optical fields, and AI application products, and promoting production at new overseas production bases.
Asia Optical announced its Q1 financial report for this year, with consolidated revenue of approximately NT$6.209 billion, an annual increase of 15%. Operating gross profit was approximately NT$1.074 billion, an annual increase of 16%. Operating net profit was approximately NT$482 million, an annual increase of 58%. Q1 revenue, operating gross profit, and operating net profit all reached new highs for the period. Net profit attributable to owners was approximately NT$294 million, an annual increase of 33%. Non-operating income and expenses mainly came from the comprehensive impact of interest income and exchange losses.
