(Central News Agency, Washington, April 29, comprehensive foreign report) US President Donald Trump said today that he believes the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has a "very good chance" of sending astronauts back to the moon before his term ends.

Agence France-Presse reported that Trump made the above statement when he met with four astronauts who had recently completed NASA's Artemis 2 lunar orbiting mission in the Oval Office of the White House.

When Trump was asked by the media present whether he thought NASA could achieve a moon landing again before his term ends in early 2029, he replied that he "doesn't like to speak in absolutes," but "I think we have a very good chance (of success)." (Compiled by: Chang Cheng-chien) 1150430
