Taiwan Mobile held a media briefing today, themed "Technology Telecom AI Drives 3 Major Engines for Accelerated Growth, Taiwan Mobile Enters a Golden Decade."

Chu Hsiao-hsing, Chief Business Officer of Taiwan Mobile's Enterprise Services Business, stated that in recent years, Taiwan Mobile has focused on four key development niches: AI artificial intelligence, ICT information and communication technology, information security, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). It has targeted four major industries: manufacturing, finance, government, and healthcare, gradually carving out a clear growth curve. Enterprise customer business revenue grew 26% year-on-year in 2025, and maintained a high growth momentum of 26% in the first quarter of this year. It is estimated that Taiwan Mobile's enterprise business revenue will exceed NT$100 billion by 2030. Chu Hsiao-hsing added that Taiwan Mobile is also accelerating its AIDC (AI Cloud Data Center) and computing power deployment, introducing NVIDIA's computing infrastructure to launch AI computing services, which are currently sold out.

In addition, Taiwan Mobile announced that it has obtained the general agency rights in Taiwan for Liminal Custody, a Singaporean institutional-grade virtual asset wallet infrastructure management platform, to develop its Web3 emerging technology business. Chu Hsiao-hsing stated that banks and enterprises face challenges of hacking prevention and operational risks when managing virtual assets such as Bitcoin and stablecoins. Through Liminal Custody's platform, it is like building a "virtual asset safe" for financial institutions, not only providing bank-grade wallet technology platform but also automating cumbersome asset management processes, ensuring every transaction complies with international regulatory standards.

Chang Chia-chi, Chief Financial Officer of Taiwan Mobile, stated that Taiwan Mobile's board of directors resolved on March 13 to distribute a cash dividend of NT$4.8 per share, a new high since 2019, representing a 7% year-on-year increase. Between 2020 and 2025, telecom service revenue grew from NT$45 billion to NT$63.9 billion, an increase of 42%. Consolidated revenue grew from NT$132.9 billion to NT$198.8 billion, a cumulative increase of 50%. Consolidated operating profit increased from NT$16.1 billion to NT$21.5 billion, a growth of 34%.

Lin Tung-min, Chief Business Officer of Taiwan Mobile's Personal User Business, stated that Taiwan Mobile "rejects superficial growth." The upgrade of 5G tariffs has driven structural growth, with 5G users contributing 68% of mobile service revenue in 2025, driving a 3% year-on-year increase in smartphone ARPU. The market share growth rate of mobile phone sales also bucked the trend to hit a new high, driving a 20% increase in iPhone 17 series sales compared to the previous generation. Taiwan Mobile also became the first telecom operator in Taiwan to obtain the general dealership for the full range of Apple Mac products. Taiwan Mobile also signed a memorandum of understanding with AST SpaceMobile to advance Direct to Cell (D2C) technology for satellite-to-phone connectivity.

Taiwan Mobile is also promoting the development of the Taiwan Mobility ecosystem and the layout of electric vehicle charging fields through shared mobility services such as MyCharge, USPACE, and WeMo. The number of MyCharge charging piles nationwide will exceed 700, with nearly 150 stations. USPACE's smart parking layout focuses on core commercial buildings and international venues, and is expanding into the Asian market; WeMo's shared scooter users, rides, and revenue are growing rapidly.

Wu Chia-ling, Vice President of Brand and Public Relations at Taiwan Mobile, stated that Taiwan Mobile continues to expand the scale of its technology telecom business. The "New Technology Telecom Business," excluding momo, saw a 32% year-on-year revenue increase in Q1 2026. Taiwan Mobile's virtual asset exchange has opened up the Web3 mass market, with corporate users applying since January this year, including listed companies with a market value of hundreds of billions.
