(Central News Agency, Jerusalem, 28th, compiled from foreign reports) The Israeli military announced today that they discovered and destroyed a large tunnel network used by Hezbollah's elite forces and ordered residents in the war-torn southern Lebanon region to evacuate north immediately.

According to AFP, Israel has been clashing with Hezbollah since early March and has sent troops into southern Lebanon to combat the Iran-backed armed group. Despite a fragile ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Lebanon on April 17, violent clashes persist.

An Israeli army statement indicated that two Hezbollah tunnels, which took about 10 years to build, were discovered in Qantara. The tunnels, totaling two kilometers in length, have been destroyed using "over 450 tons of explosives."

Lebanese state media reported that the Israeli explosion left a "large crater" in Qantara.

AFP images showed two massive plumes of smoke rising from the explosion site, clearly visible from several miles away.

Israeli military sources described it as an "enormous underground military facility," including one tunnel 800 meters long and another 1.2 kilometers long, serving as a "staging area" for Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force.

The source stated that these tunnels were located beneath civilian infrastructure, including schools and mosques, and were equipped with sleeping areas, showers, toilets, small kitchens, and five assembly halls, adding that they were "designed, funded, and built by Iran."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "Today we blew up a massive Hezbollah terror tunnel," vowing to continue fighting the organization's infrastructure.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, Israel and Hezbollah continue to clash, each accusing the other of violating the accord.

The Lebanese Health Ministry reported that an Israeli airstrike in the Jwaya area of southern Lebanon tonight caused one death and 15 injuries, including five children and five women.

This airstrike was launched after Israel issued a new round of evacuation orders, instructing residents of more than a dozen villages and towns to immediately evacuate north.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar stated that Israel has "no territorial ambitions in Lebanon," adding that it would withdraw from southern Lebanon when "Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations are dismantled."

The Israeli army stated that Hezbollah launched multiple explosive drones, which detonated near Israeli soldiers but caused no casualties.

Hezbollah launched rocket attacks on Israel on March 2, claiming it was in retaliation for the killing of Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei, thereby dragging Lebanon into the Middle East war. (Translator: Xu Rui-cheng) 1150429
