(Central News Agency reporter Xu Zhiwei, Taipei 29th) The 115th academic year's skill-based admission program for four-year colleges and two-year junior colleges has 67 participating institutions, offering 4078 quotas. Applications for registration fee payment and qualification review registration will be accepted from 10 AM on April 29th to 5 PM on May 6th. Qualified applicants can apply to a maximum of five desired departments/programs.
The Joint Commission on College Entrance Examination for Technical and Vocational Education announced today in a press release that the 115th academic year's skill-based admission for four-year colleges and two-year junior colleges will not consider the scores from the unified entrance examination. All high school graduates (including those who have completed experimental education of school-type or non-school-type, or students with equivalent academic qualifications) who meet the requirements stipulated in the prospectus, such as winning skill competitions, possessing technical specialist qualifications, or passing professional and technical general examinations, are eligible to apply.
The 115th academic year's skill-based admission for four-year colleges and two-year junior colleges adopts individual registration. Applicants must first pay the registration fee before proceeding with the qualification review. Applicants should obtain a payment account number for the registration fee from the Joint Commission on College Entrance Examination for Technical and Vocational Education website (https://www.jctv.ntut.edu.tw/enter42/skill/), pay the registration fee before 12 AM on May 5th, and register their qualification review data before 5 PM on May 6th. After completing the registration, the qualification review documents must be mailed by registered express mail before May 6th.
The Joint Commission will announce the qualification review results at 10 AM on May 15th. Applicants who pass the qualification review must select and register for their desired departments/programs online before 5 PM on May 22nd. Each person can apply to a maximum of five departments/programs and must pay the review fee according to the methods set by each institution before the payment deadline.
Applicants who have already been admitted and registered through other admission channels (including universities), such as the "Four-Year College and Two-Year Junior College Excellent Skill-Based Student Admission for Technical and Vocational Colleges," "Technical and Vocational College Star Plan Joint Recommendation Admission," or "Four-Year College and Two-Year Junior College Special Selection Admission for Technical and Vocational Colleges," are not eligible to apply for skill-based admission. Violators will have their qualifications revoked. (Edited by Li Shuhua) 1150429
