The Taipei City Police Department's Zhongzheng First Precinct issued a press release stating that multiple gatherings and demonstration activities have been approved for May 1st (Friday) from 8 AM to 6 PM on sections including Ketagalan Boulevard, Jinan Road Section 1, Xiangyang Road, and Zhongshan South Road in Zhongzheng District. To maintain traffic order and safety during the activities, traffic guidance and control duties have been planned.
Zhongzheng First explained that for the 'May 1st Labor March' gathering and demonstration activity, all lanes on Ketagalan Boulevard (from Zhongshan South Road to Gongyuan Road) in both eastbound and westbound directions will be closed to traffic from 10 AM on May 1st.
