The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a press release today stating that Joseph Wu met with and hosted a luncheon for Menkos Zeissig and Deputy Minister Débora Eunice Alvarado Franco and a delegation of 6 people on the 28th, expressing the government's sincere welcome.

Joseph Wu pointed out that the diplomatic ties between Taiwan and Guatemala have entered their 92nd year, and over the years, both sides have achieved fruitful cooperation results in public health, medical care, investment and trade, women's empowerment, and education and culture.
