The Taipei Exchange (TPEx) announced on the 28th that Win Semiconductors (Win Semi) reported an additional delivery default of NT$86.69 million. Including the approximately NT$96.69 million reported on the 27th, the total amount of related defaults has exceeded NT$183 million. On the 27th, both Win Semi and stock king Aspeed reported defaults, totaling over NT$129 million in a single day. The latest default was reported by the Yung Ho branch of Capital Securities. Observing the OTC market recently, defaults have increased since late April. The largest case involved copper foil manufacturer Gold Circuit Electronics, with approximately NT$110 million reported on the 21st and an additional NT$23.43 million on the 22nd, totaling over NT$134 million in two days. Under Taiwan's 'T+2' settlement system, investors must complete delivery on the second business day after the transaction. TPEx statistics show other default cases this year include Unitech-KY in January, Lian Ya in mid-April, and both Win Semi and Aspeed in late April.
