Mos Burger marks its 35th anniversary in Taiwan with cumulative sales of over 100 million rice burgers, equivalent to the height of over 204 Taipei 101 buildings. Starting from its first store in Taipei's Xinsheng District, it now has nearly 300 locations nationwide. Mos Burger announced that it will prioritize renovating stores that have operated for over 15 years and plans to gradually introduce Mos vending machines by the end of 2026. Introduced by Teco Image Systems from Japan in 1991, the brand emphasizes made-to-order rice burgers. Mos Burger has continuously pursued digital transformation, launching the MOS Order App in 2012 as a pioneer in the fast-food industry. In 2015, it established an online mall, and in 2016, it introduced its first MIT self-ordering kiosks. To improve in-store efficiency, the brand launched 'Table Ordering' in 2020 and a 'Cross-Store Pickup' feature. Currently, 209 stores are equipped with kiosks. Future plans include a mobile POS system for food carts and self-pickup lockers for delivery and takeout orders. In terms of expansion, the brand is actively developing drive-thru stores and specialized outlets at transportation hubs, campuses, and stadiums like the Taipei Dome. The brand will focus on optimizing core product sales while streamlining operations through smart equipment.
