Hong Kong star Daniel Wu recently returned to the screen for 'Cold War 1994,' a prequel to the 'Cold War' series released 10 years after the previous installment. Sharing scenes with rising star Terence Lau, Daniel expressed that filming in Hong Kong felt like 'coming home.' Directors and cast members accepted a video interview from Taiwanese media yesterday. Daniel noted that seeing many familiar faces on set was comforting, as they had grown up together in the industry. He mentioned that while he is often hailed as a heartthrob, his 13-year-old daughter is unimpressed, preferring K-pop stars—specifically Bang Chan from Stray Kids—over her own father. Terence Lau, who plays the younger version of Tony Leung Ka-fai's character, felt honored to work with Daniel. Director Sunny Luk explained that the actors were perfect for their roles set in the 90s, and praised them as the 'handsomest in Hong Kong.' The film will premiere in Taiwan on May 8.
