Beijing, April 28 (CNA). The CPC Central Committee Politburo held a meeting today chaired by General Secretary Xi Jinping to analyze the current economic situation and work. The meeting acknowledged a strong start to the economy with key indicators exceeding expectations, while noting ongoing challenges. It emphasized the need to enhance confidence and take decisive actions. Key priorities include implementing the 'AI+' action plan to develop the smart economy, expanding domestic demand through consumption upgrades and infrastructure (such as computing power and next-gen communication networks), and stabilizing the real estate market. The meeting also stressed the importance of proactive fiscal and moderately loose monetary policies, addressing local government debt, and ensuring stable employment and social welfare to achieve a good start for the '15th Five-Year Plan.'
