Central News Agency (CNA) reporter Kuo Xuanwen, Hsinchu City, 28th - Far Eastern Big City Shopping Mall announced today that it has long promoted public welfare activities, providing free venues to schools, associations, and other organizations, and also supports cultural and artistic activities and performances to foster cultural roots. A cumulative total of 1909 public welfare events have been held, benefiting 386 organizations.
Far Eastern Big City Shopping Mall held its 15th-anniversary celebration. Chairperson Li Jingfang stated that the value of a shopping mall is not just in revenue figures but also in responding to societal expectations and promoting public welfare activities. In addition to regularly holding blood donation drives, it invests various resources in schools and associations and organizes a "Street Art Festival" to build a professional stage, helping local creations gain visibility.
She stated that in the future, the company will continue to integrate resources from all sectors, combine cultural and artistic energy with the vitality of the shopping mall, and realize the vision of cultural and economic co-prosperity, building competitive cultural and artistic classrooms for Taoyuan, Hsinchu, and Miaoli.
General Manager Luo Shiqing told a CNA reporter that public welfare organizations need to invest a lot of manpower and resources when organizing events, and venue costs often become a heavy burden. Therefore, Big City proactively provides support to lower their implementation threshold.
He pointed out that in recent years, many public welfare organizations have successively moved in to hold events, with a cumulative total of 1909 public welfare events benefiting 386 organizations.
