The Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning transited the Taiwan Strait yesterday, according to Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense. From 6:00 AM yesterday to 6:00 AM today, a total of 24 Chinese aircraft were detected, with 11 crossing the median line into the northern, southwestern, and eastern airspace. Additionally, 7 PLA vessels and 1 official ship were spotted, totaling 32 assets active around the island.

Defense officials released photos showing carrier-based fighter jets and helicopters on the Liaoning’s flight deck. Military data indicates that between 7:35 AM and 10:05 PM yesterday, 18 main combat aircraft, helicopters, and UAVs were detected in the Taiwan Strait area. Other sorties were identified in the southwestern and eastern sectors. Taiwan's military utilized aircraft, naval assets, and land-based missile systems to maintain strict surveillance.
