(Taipei, April 27, Central News Agency reporter Huang Li-chen) A conflict broke out last night at a hotel in Taipei's East District. Three men, including Mr. Zhuang, were drinking and consuming at the establishment. They became dissatisfied with the hotel's insufficient number of female hostesses and clashed with a male waiter, Mr. Wu. Police were notified and arrived at the scene, confiscating a folding knife from one of the individuals. The entire case has been handled according to law.

The Daan Precinct Dunhua South Road Police Station of the Taipei City Police Department received a report around 11 PM last night, stating that customers were causing trouble at a hotel on Section 4, Zhongxiao East Road. They immediately activated a rapid response mechanism and dispatched a superior police force to deal with the situation.

Upon investigation, it was understood that Mr. Zhuang and his friends, Mr. Yu and Mr. Lin, were drinking inside the establishment and requested the hotel to arrange female hostesses for their private room service. However, the hotel explained that there were no available staff at the time. Mr. Zhuang and the others still insisted on finding someone within the premises, and subsequently got into an argument with the waiter, Mr. Wu.

An agitated Mr. Zhuang then physically pushed Mr. Wu with his bare hands, leading to a conflict at the scene. When police arrived, they quickly brought the situation under control, forcefully detained the three troublemakers including Mr. Zhuang, and confiscated a folding knife from Mr. Yu's pocket.

The police subsequently took the three men, including Mr. Zhuang, back to the police station for investigation. After questioning, the entire case was transferred to the Taipei District Court Taipei Summary Division for penalties, on charges of violating the Social Order Maintenance Act for "creating a disturbance by pretext," "assaulting others," and "unlawfully carrying dangerous items."
