(Central News Agency reporter Wang Chaoyu, New Taipei, 27th) A 36-year-old man surnamed Lin, a fugitive wanted for theft, fell from the 4th floor of his rented apartment in New Taipei City's Wanli District yesterday evening while trying to evade police surveillance. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead. The prosecutor from the Keelung District Prosecutors Office completed the autopsy today noon and will further clarify the cause of death.
Police investigation revealed that Mr. Lin, 36, was wanted by the Keelung District Prosecutors Office for a theft case.
