Lead actor Chun Feng attended and answered audience questions, offering different perspectives on the choice between saving a father or taking money. When asked by an audience member if his character would choose to save his father or take NT$10 million, Chun Feng said, 'Choose the money.' When staff asked what he would do personally, he said, 'Save my father!' sparking more discussion. 'Deadly Bet' is inspired by the real 'Death Street' news, focusing on survival battles in underground mutual aid societies. According to the team, Chun Feng and director Zhan Chun-hao visited cinemas in Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung. Zhan stated that during character discussions, he asked Chun Feng to imagine his character, Lin Sheng-yi, as a 'failed, despondent version of Chun Feng in a parallel universe,' which helped him get into character quickly. 'Deadly Bet' is currently playing across Taiwan.
