Zhu Fenglian stated that, according to information, around 4 PM on April 24, a tourist bus carrying 13 Taiwanese individuals overturned in the Bajiaocheng Scenic Area, Ganjia Town, Xiahe County, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province. This resulted in one Taiwanese individual suffering severe injuries, two Taiwanese individuals sustaining minor injuries, and ten Taiwanese individuals receiving minor scrapes. The severely injured Taiwanese individual passed away that night after rescue efforts were unsuccessful.
Zhu Fenglian added that after the accident, rescue personnel from Xiahe County People's Hospital immediately responded, promptly transferring the injured to the hospital and contacting experts from Lanzhou University First Hospital for joint consultation and treatment. Local authorities organized all efforts to fully treat the injured, properly handle the aftermath, and meticulously care for the patients.
Currently, among the 12 injured patients, three remain hospitalized for continued treatment, and nine have been discharged and returned to their hotels. The conditions of the injured are gradually improving.
