Following the successful stationing of renowned specialists, it has today extended its Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) mobile clinic services to Huxi Township. In the future, TCM services will be provided monthly at a fixed location, embodying the healthcare spirit of "patients immobile, doctors mobile."
The expansion of Penghu's "TCM mobile clinic footprint" and resident services was jointly inaugurated today by Penghu County Government Secretary-General Lin Wen-tsao, China Medical University Hospital Vice President Kao Shang-te, and Health Bureau Director Chen Shu-chuan at the Huxi Activity Center. The medical team will regularly provide services at the Huxi Activity Center on the fourth Sunday of each month.
Lin Wen-tsao stated that Penghu County Commissioner Chen Kuang-fu promotes the spirit of "patients immobile, doctors mobile," striving to provide local medical care to patients. He thanked the China Medical University Hospital medical team for their tireless efforts over the past 10 years, traveling to Penghu villages and towns lacking TCM resources, and solving the difficulties of inconvenient medical access for island residents. He also looks forward to more doctors providing resident services in remote areas in the future, building a more comprehensive medical environment.

Services have been provided in villages and towns such as Baisha Jiangmei, Xiyu Chima, Waian, Qimei Township, Magong Wukan, Suogang, Guangming, and Tiexian. This year, the mobile clinic is extended to Huxi Township for the first time, rooting medical resources, protecting the health of remote residents, and perfecting the remote area medical landscape.
