The Taichung City Fire Bureau received a report at 2:32 PM today that a man was injured on Fuhou Street in the West District, next to the Taiwan Taichung District Court. After dispatching ambulance personnel, they found a man with a suspected gun wound to the abdomen, but conscious. He was sent to China Medical University Hospital for treatment after first aid.

The First Precinct of the Taichung City Police Bureau stated that the injured person, a 27-year-old man named Lin, was shot inside his car while passing through the incident location.
