A netizen posted on the social media platform Threads yesterday, accompanying a video, stating that on the evening of the 26th, during the Dajia Mazu pilgrimage in Dajia city, a man suddenly shoved people present and yelled loudly, being subdued and restrained by police, sparking heated discussion among netizens.

The Dajia Precinct of the Taichung City Police Bureau stated today via a text release that the incident occurred at 10:20 PM on the 26th, on Wenwu Road in Dajia District. 29-year-old Mr. Hsu, while intoxicated, shoved people around him and yelled loudly as Mazu's palanquin passed.
