(Central News Agency, Kyiv, April 25, comprehensive foreign report) Ukrainian authorities announced today that an airstrike by Russia on the eastern city of Dnipro hit a residential building, causing at least 2 deaths, 21 injuries, and 5 people missing.

Agence France-Presse reported that Oleksandr Ganzha, governor of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, stated: "Rescuers have found two bodies in the rubble of a building destroyed by a Russian attack."

He said that another five people are believed to be trapped under the rubble and confirmed that 21 people were injured.

Along with his message on the communication platform Telegram, Ganzha also posted a video showing rescuers carrying a body in a black body bag from the ruins of a small building, with an excavator clearing rubble nearby.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian attacks overnight across Ukraine resulted in a total of 4 deaths and approximately 30 injuries.

Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, civilians have been killed almost daily in Russian airstrikes.

After the outbreak of the Middle East war in February this year, US-brokered Russia-Ukraine peace talks stalled, and Washington's attention shifted more towards the war with Iran. (Translator: Kao Chao-fen / Editor: Liu Shu-chin) 1150425
