The Soka Art Museum today held the opening ceremony for 'Indelible/Echo/Poem - Tsuang Pu Solo Exhibition,' which runs until July 10. This exhibition showcases 89 of Tsuang Pu's works, many of which are large-scale installation art pieces. Tsuang Pu remarked that while many museums in Taiwan focus on foreign artists, the Soka Art Museum has deeply cultivated Taiwanese art. The exhibition features 'Rule Protector,' which uses the Lu Ban ruler, a common measurement tool in Taiwan. Tsuang Pu noted that everyone has a ruler in their heart and incorporated the lucky elements of the Lu Ban ruler into his work. The museum explained that this exhibition is a return to Kaohsiung after touring other cities. Tsuang Pu, a recipient of the National Award for Arts, returned to Taiwan in the 1980s and helped found artistic spaces like IT Park, promoting contemporary art development.
