The SEF stated that Mr. Chen's group of more than 30 Taiwanese, who traveled to mainland China on the 20th for tourism, had a rollover accident on a park vehicle in Gansu on the afternoon of the 24th.
The Ministry of Transportation and Communications Tourism Bureau explained in writing that this case was a "travel group formed by passengers' relatives and friends" organized by Lion Travel for a trip to Sichuan's Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou in mainland China, with the itinerary from April 20 to May 1 this year.
The Tourism Bureau pointed out that when the group was riding a park vehicle in the Ganjia Secret Scenic Area on the afternoon of April 24 (15 passengers on board, including 1 tour leader), a rollover accident occurred, causing 1 death and 12 injuries.
