Xiao Yan (pseudonym), who graduated from university last year, aspired to join the food and beverage industry but faced difficulties in her initial job search. Seeking help from the Taitung Employment Center, she was successfully hired by the renowned Wowprime Group and received NT$48,000 in employment incentives. Wu Yu-min, Director of the center, stated that the competitive job market poses challenges for young people starting their careers. To assist, the center utilized the 'Support Youth Employment Plan' to provide resume reviews, mock interviews, and career counseling. Xiao Yan had previously applied to major companies but was rejected, which dented her confidence. After multiple sessions of resume restructuring and mock interviews, she gained the skills and confidence to impress employers. She eventually chose Wowprime for its training systems and has already started her management trainee program. The plan offers up to NT$48,000 to first-time job seekers aged 15-29 who have been unemployed for at least 60 days.
