(Central News Agency, Taipei, 25th) Quanta Computer celebrated its 38th anniversary today with a Family Day event. Chairman Barry Lam addressed the gathering, stating that at 38, Quanta is in its prime. Last year, the company's revenue broke records, surpassing NT$2 trillion. Despite global uncertainties and conflicts, Lam expressed confidence that Quanta will overcome challenges and forge ahead.
Vice Chairman C.C. Leung added that a defining characteristic of Quanta is not just doing things well, but doing them 'fast.' Whenever an opportunity arises, the company must seize it firmly. Leung revealed that customers demand both quality and speed. For Quanta, speed is the most critical factor, citing the martial arts proverb: 'In the world of kung fu, speed is the only thing that cannot be defeated.'
According to Leung, Quanta saw significant growth last year, and this year holds even greater opportunities. 'Look at our results from the first three months—they are quite good,' he said. Quanta's revenue for the first quarter of 2026 reached NT$809.22 billion, a staggering 66.62% increase year-over-year.
Benefiting from the AI boom, Quanta has transformed from a traditional laptop OEM into a leading AI server manufacturer. Statistics show that servers accounted for 70% of the company's revenue last year, with 70% of those being AI servers—meaning roughly half of the total revenue came from AI servers. This year, Quanta estimates server revenue will rise to 80% of the total, with 80% of that being AI servers. Consequently, nearly two-thirds of the company's total revenue will stem from AI servers. Tens of thousands of employees and their families gathered at the Linkou headquarters to celebrate, with Lam expressing his heartfelt gratitude for their support.
