According to the latest information from the Central Weather Administration, a magnitude 4.8 earthquake occurred today at 3:16 PM, with a focal depth of 69 kilometers. The epicenter was located 15.1 kilometers north-northeast of the Yilan County Government (off the coast of Yilan County), and the maximum intensity was 3 in Yilan County.

TRA explained in writing that the Shulin Station experienced an intensity of 3, and operations between Taipei and Yingge were handled according to the regulations for a magnitude 3 earthquake.
