(Central News Agency, Taipei, 25th) According to a report by Chinese media Economic Observer, informed sources said that Zhang Jun, China's two-time Olympic badminton mixed doubles champion, chairman of the Chinese Badminton Association, and vice president of Nanjing Sport Institute, is being investigated by disciplinary and supervisory authorities and has been out of contact for over 10 days.
Economic Observer reported on the 24th that according to relevant sources, Zhang Jun's investigation is primarily related to his tenure at the Chinese Badminton Association, with some parts involving his work in Jiangsu. After Zhang Jun went missing, his relatives had inquired about his situation with the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau.
