(Central News Agency reporter Chen Yu-ting, Taipei, 24th) A road running event coincides with the Technical College Entrance Exam, and traffic control sections are near 3 exam venues. The Department of Education said that traffic control is expected to largely end before the exam, and the implementation area is still some distance from the exam venues, so there will be no noise problems. Students and parents are asked to rest assured, but it is still recommended that students take the MRT.

The Taipei City Department of Education today issued a press release stating that the 115th academic year Technical College Entrance Exam will be held on April 25th and 26th, coinciding with the National Geographic Road Race on the 26th. The city government attaches great importance to this and convened a traffic control discussion meeting yesterday with the Department of Sports, Department of Transportation, Police Department, Public Transportation Office, and the road race organizer to discuss response measures.

The Department of Education stated that the road race control sections include Xinsheng North Road and Ren'ai Road. The control period for Xinsheng North Road is from 4:30 AM to 8:00 AM, with only the elevated section controlled, and the ground level still accessible; the control period for Ren'ai Road is from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and additional volunteer traffic police will be dispatched to assist with guidance on relevant sections.

The Department of Education recommends that students going to the Taipei University of Technology, National Taipei University of Business, and Daan Vocational High School exam venues near the controlled sections can avoid the control period or take the MRT. It also calls on all schools to notify students of relevant information and encourage them to prioritize taking the MRT.

In addition, the Department of Education stated that it has coordinated with various city government departments to assist in suspending construction projects around the exam venues during the exam period to avoid construction noise affecting the tranquility of the exam venues. If there are activities near the exam venues on the day, it will also maintain close contact with police and transportation units to ensure smooth traffic and a quiet exam environment.
