This event, hosted by the Hakka Affairs Council, will take place for three consecutive days starting at 7 PM. Hakka Affairs Council Minister Gu Hsiu-fei and Hsinchu County Magistrate Yang Wen-ke attended the promotional press conference. Gu Hsiu-fei stated that "Lantern Monster" features massive mechanical props, requiring a suitable venue and surrounding traffic management. She thanked Yang Wen-ke and Zhubei City Mayor Cheng Chao-fang for their support, leading their teams to help resolve difficulties.

Yang Wen-ke said the background of "Lantern Monster" is the coexistence of the ocean and land, containing the Hakka people's spiritual beliefs and cultural values of respecting heaven, cherishing things, and guarding their homeland. Yang Wen-ke stated that about 80% of the "Lantern Monster" performance content is presented in Hakka. The Hsinchu County Government stated that in coordination with the event, Xianzheng 6th Road (the middle section between Guangming 6th Road and Guangming 9th Road) will be closed from today until the 27th.
