Wall Street's main indices opened lower today as investors adopted a wait-and-see attitude due to the lack of clear signals regarding the war situation between the United States and Iran. Mixed corporate earnings from several large firms further dampened market sentiment.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 205.2 points, or 0.41%, at the opening to 49,284.85 points.

The S&P 500 index dipped 19.1 points, or 0.27%, to 7,118.8 points.

The Nasdaq Composite index dropped 103.8 points, or 0.42%, to 24,553.75 points. (Reporter: Chen Yanjun)
