Taiwan Stocks Break 38,000 Points Intraday, Close Up 273 Points at Record High of 37,878

It reached a peak of 38,096.88 and eventually closed at 37,878.47 points, up 273.36 points, with a trading volume of NT$946.033 billion. Both the intraday high and the closing price set new historical records. Heavyweight TSMC closed flat at NT$2,050.

Regarding the performance of other heavyweight stocks, Hon Hai rose by NT$10 to close at NT$221, MediaTek closed at the daily upper limit of NT$2,295, and Delta Electronics closed flat at NT$2,015.
