(Central News Agency, New Delhi, 22nd, Comprehensive Foreign Report) An exclusive Reuters report citing shipping and security sources today said the US military has intercepted at least three Iranian-flagged oil tankers in Asian waters, diverting them from their original locations near India, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka.

Two US and Indian shipping sources, along with two Western maritime security sources, told Reuters today that the US has diverted at least three more Iranian-flagged tankers over the past few days.

According to these sources and the vessel tracking website MarineTraffic, one of them is the Iranian-flagged supertanker "Deep Sea", which was partially loaded with crude oil; its last public tracking signal appeared off the coast of Malaysia a week ago.

Another is the smaller Iranian-flagged "Sevin", with a maximum capacity of 1 million barrels, which was loaded at about 65% capacity and was also intercepted by the US military. Vessel tracking data showed the ship was last seen a month ago off the coast of Malaysia.

According to the aforementioned sources and MarineTraffic tracking data, another Iranian-flagged supertanker, "Dorena", was also intercepted while fully loaded with 2 million barrels of crude oil. It was last seen three days ago off the coast of southern India.

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) posted on social media X today that the "Dorena", after attempting to violate the US military blockade, is currently being escorted by a US Navy destroyer sailing in the Indian Ocean.

The US military has not immediately responded to requests for comment regarding these interceptions. (Compiler: Chen Cheng-chien) 1150423
