The Tainan District Prosecutors Office stated today that 33-year-old Wu (currently in custody) has multiple prior convictions for drug-related offenses and drug driving. On the afternoon of February 23, after consuming drugs, he took a small truck on the road without a license, carrying five children and teenagers. Two were in the front passenger seat and three were in the back bed of the truck.
While Wu was driving through Zhengyi 1st Street in Rende District, he was stopped by the police for illegally crossing the double yellow lines.
