(Central News Agency, Reporter Wu Che-hao, Changhua, 23rd) A fire broke out in a corrugated iron warehouse in Xiushui Township, Changhua County, this evening. Because the warehouse stored plastic raw materials, the fire quickly raged out of control. The fire department received the report and dispatched more than 10 fire engines to extinguish the blaze. The fire was put out in the evening, and fortunately, there were no casualties.

The Changhua County Fire Department stated that it received a public report at around 5 p.m. indicating that a corrugated iron warehouse on Yaxing Street, Xiushui Township, suddenly caught fire. Because of the plastic raw materials inside, the fire became uncontrollable, with thick smoke billowing into the sky, clearly visible from several kilometers away.

Branches from Lukang, Hemei, and others under the Changhua County Fire Department dispatched over 10 fire engines and a firefighting robot to the scene. Due to the intensity of the fire, firefighters could only lay water lines from the perimeter to fight the blaze. Fortunately, no one was injured or killed. The fire was extinguished at around 8 p.m., and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. (Editor: Lung Po-an) 1150423
