The TTSB pointed out on its official website today that a Fly Synthesis Storch CL ultralight vehicle, carrying one operator, crashed into a farmland near the intersection of the Taiwan Sugar Railway Longyan Branch and Yunlin Route 29 in Huwei Township, Yunlin County. The ultralight vehicle was completely destroyed, and the operator was sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
The TTSB stated that after receiving the notification, it immediately dispatched investigators to the accident site to collect data in accordance with the standard operating procedures for major aviation accident investigations. Based on the Transportation Occurrence Investigation Act, this incident was identified as a major aviation occurrence. An investigation has been officially established, and related evidence is continuously being collected.
