(CNA Reporter Yang Yao-ru, Taipei, 22nd) The Chinese Communist Party has pressured third countries to obstruct President Lai's visit to the allied nation of Eswatini. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Wu Chih-chung revealed three major actions by China against Taiwan on social media today, including destroying the right to aviation travel by complicating the Taiwanese President's overseas trips. He emphasized that if all freedoms require prior consent from China, it is a very serious matter.

President Lai Ching-te was originally scheduled to leave today to visit the African ally Eswatini, but Seychelles, Mauritius, and Madagascar suddenly canceled the flight permits for the special plane, causing the trip to be postponed.

Wu Chih-chung posted on Facebook today, stating that China is destroying the right to aviation travel by complicating the Taiwanese President's overseas trips; destroying the world's right to public health by blocking Taiwan from participating in the World Health Organization (WHO); and destroying the right to freedom of navigation on the high seas by intimidating countries from passing through the Taiwan Strait.

Wu Chih-chung emphasized that if all freedoms must first obtain China's consent, it is a very serious matter. (Editor: Zhai Sijia) 1150422
