Fire at Timber Factory in Luodong, Yilan; Flames Soar, Fortunately No Injuries

(CNA Correspondent Shen Ru-feng, Yilan County, 22nd) A fire broke out tonight at a timber factory on Section 3, Fuxing Road, Luodong Township, Yilan County. Because combustible materials such as wood were piled up at the scene, the flames soared into the sky for a time. Fortunately, the fire has been brought under control, and no one was trapped or injured. The cause of the fire is pending investigation.

The Yilan County Fire Department received a report at 7:23 PM that a timber factory on Section 3, Fuxing Road in Luodong Township had caught fire, and dispatched local fire branches to extinguish the flames.

The Fire Department pointed out that the fire was brought under control at 8:15 PM, but there are still residual embers. Excavators have been deployed to help completely extinguish the fire.
