Taipei, April 22 (CNA) — CNA held a launch event for its new book, 'When AI Meets ESG: How 36 Companies Successfully Transformed,' today. CNA Chairman Lee Yung-te stated that many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are working hard to transform with government support and limited resources in response to the dual trends of AI and ESG. This book aims to provide referenceable experiences and foster industrial exchange. Following the success of '28 Lessons on Carbon Trading' and 'Essential Lessons for Net-Zero Corporations,' this third volume in CNA's sustainability series reveals how benchmark companies use AI to reduce carbon emissions and optimize manufacturing processes. Dignitaries from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Affairs attended, noting that AI could reduce carbon emissions by 15-20%. Lee emphasized that media can play a supportive role by organizing and presenting cross-domain experiences to help the public understand complex terms through concrete action guides.
