US-Iran War Key News

Central News Agency (Washington, April 21, Comprehensive Foreign Report) US President Donald Trump today appealed to Tehran, suggesting that if it released what he called eight women facing execution, it would help improve the success opportunities for Iran's peace talks with the United States.

Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that Trump wrote on his social media platform "Truth Social": "I would be very appreciative if these women were released. ...It would be great if our negotiations started with this!"

Trump included a post on social media platform X by Eyal Yakoby, a young pro-Israel activist from the US, which showed photos of eight Iranian women, claiming they were facing execution.

The post did not provide the names of these eight women. AFP has not yet been able to confirm the authenticity of the content. (Translator: Chang Cheng-chien) 1150421
