Strong convective cloud systems are developing in the afternoon, making short-duration heavy rainfall likely. Mountainous areas south of Chiayi should guard against localized heavy rain, pay attention to lightning strikes and flash floods, and be cautious of landslides and falling rocks in mountainous areas; heavy rain is expected to continue until evening.
