Hsinchu Hukou Station Train Accident, Railway Police Investigating Cause

(Central News Agency reporter Kuo Hsuan-Wen, Hsinchu County 22nd) The Railway Police Bureau received a report that at around 11 PM last night, a 152 Tze-Chiang Limited Express train was suspected of colliding with a person at the south end of Hukou Station, Hsinchu. The person showed no signs of life, and the police are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

The Railway Police Bureau stated today in a written communication that officers immediately arrived at the scene to handle the situation. Single-line two-way traffic was maintained at the location. After assessment by on-site fire department personnel, the person showed no signs of life, and the cause of the incident is being clarified.

According to information from Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) Company, due to the casualty accident involving the 152 Tze-Chiang Limited Express, both northbound and southbound trains between "Beihu-Xinfeng" are experiencing delays.
