Taoyuan Tung Blossom Festival Kicks Off on 4/18, Planning 13 Secret Tung Blossom Viewing Spots

Taoyuan Deputy Mayor Su Chun-bin attended the '2026 Taoyuan Tung Blossom Festival Launch Press Conference' and pointed out that the Taoyuan Tung Blossom Festival is not just about admiring the beauty of the flowers but also carries the century-old historical context of the Hakka population and witnesses the development of Taoyuan's Hakka culture and industry. This year's event continues the past experience of parent-child family outings and expands to integrate resources from five districts: Gueishan, Luzhu, Daxi, Longtan, and Yangmei. The Tung Blossom Festival has become the best medium for conveying history and intergenerational dialogue.

The Taoyuan City Hakka Affairs Bureau stated that the Taoyuan Tung Blossom Festival will be held from April 18th to May 9th. This year's theme is 'Tung Blossom Give Me Five,' linking five major administrative districts to plan five major tung blossom viewing areas, five 'Tung Music Festivals,' 13 secret tung blossom viewing spots, and eight tung blossom mini-tour routes. Special experiences are designed for children. The main visual concept is 'Fairy Tale Tung Blossom Amusement Park,' inviting performance teams to create a fun-filled parent-child playground.

The Hakka Affairs Bureau pointed out that the event content includes Hakka food workshops such as Niubenshui, Tung Blossom Ban, and Qiba. This year also launches the 'Official LINE Account Electronic Stamp Collection Activity.' Visitors can participate in a lucky draw by collecting stamps at the 13 secret spots.
