Police and firefighters in Taipei City received a report at 3:28 PM that a man was found collapsed on a terrace of a building on Songjiang Road in Zhongshan District, lacking a heartbeat. They immediately dispatched personnel to the scene for first aid, simultaneously notified his family, and subsequently assisted in transporting him to Mackay Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment.
According to preliminary investigations, the landlord of the 2nd-floor building contacted Lin, a plumber from New Taipei City, online to come to the house for repairs. During this period, neighboring residents discovered Lin collapsed on the terrace for unknown reasons and urgently notified police and firefighters to assist.
