Iranian Official Calls on Youth to Form Human Chain to Protect Power Plants, Resist Trump's Bombing Threat

He wrote: "Tomorrow, Tuesday at 2 PM, next to power plants nationwide, regardless of faith or stance, we will hold hands and declare: Attacking public infrastructure is a war crime." Trump issued an ultimatum over the weekend, stating Iran must reach an agreement by 8 PM US Eastern Time on the 7th. Iranian authorities have a record of violating international humanitarian law and recruiting child soldiers, with tens of thousands of children dying during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s. According to Amnesty International, Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard issued a notice late last month calling for "volunteers" as young as 12 years old to assist in war efforts, engaging in tasks such as patrols.
