Golden Harvest Film Festival Features 16 'Taiwanese Flavor' Films; Chen Xue-zhen and Huang Di-yang Salon Talk

The 2026 Golden Harvest Film Festival today announced 16 must-see screening works in the 'Taiwanese Way' section via press release. It will also hold 'Golden Harvest Little Living Room Open to Everyone Shared Salon,' inviting Chen Xue-zhen, Huang Di-yang, Chung Hsin-ling, Deng Jiu-yun, and Hong Yu-hong, among other 16 Golden Horse, Golden Harvest, and international film festival winners, for in-depth salon discussions, showcasing the abundant energy of Taiwan's emerging visual creators.

In addition, two lectures will be held. One is in collaboration with the Taiwan Film Critics Association to explore the resonance between film criticism and short film creation. The other will feature distributors analyzing how short films can be featured in international film festivals.

The 2026 Golden Harvest Film Festival will be held from April 24th to May 1st at Taipei Xinyi Vieshow Cinemas. Ticket sales will officially begin at 1 PM on April 13th via the online ticketing system. (Editor: Wu Su-rou) 1150407
