(CNA London, April 20, via comprehensive foreign reports) US President Donald Trump stated in a recent interview that if no agreement is reached before the ceasefire ends, he is unlikely to extend the two-week ceasefire with Iran. This dashed hopes of ending the Middle East war, and European stock markets fell today in response.
The London FTSE 100 index fell 58.55 points, or 0.55%, to close at 10609.08 points.
The Frankfurt DAX index dropped 284.44 points, or 1.15%, to 24417.80 points.
