Hong Kong Economic Times cited data from the China General Administration of Customs showing that China's rare earth magnet exports in March were 5,238.3 tons, an increase of 10.5% from the previous month, a decrease of 2.7% from the average of the previous two months, and a decrease of 1.6% year-on-year. In March, exports of rare earth magnets to the US were 405.6 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 9.5%. Exports to Japan were 184.2 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 17.3%, and a decrease of 17% from the average of the previous two months.
