Changhua Hemei All-People Sports Center Opens, Aiming to Be a Health Hub

The Hemei All-People Sports Center, Changhua County's third county-level sports center, has officially opened. Legislators from the Democratic Progressive Party, including Chen Su-Yue and Chen Xiu-Bao, attended the opening ceremony. Governor Wang Hui-Mei stated that the center's architectural design subtly incorporates Hemei's renowned textile culture, symbolizing the local industry. The first floor features a heated swimming pool, basketball court, badminton court, and an all-ages fitness training center. The second floor houses a gymnasium, table tennis room, and classrooms. Outdoor facilities currently include a 200-meter track and field, with a roller skating rink also planned. To ensure inclusivity for all ages, the sports center has designated special zones for the elderly, women, and families. Furthermore, it provides 14 weekly free access slots for individuals with disabilities and seniors, aiming to break down barriers to sports participation and serve as a health hub for the community.
