Austria Salzburg Trolleybus Derails, Crashes into Supermarket, 1 Dead, 7 Injured

The Austrian Red Cross (Red Cross) stated that an accident occurred in Salzburg today where a trolleybus derailed and crashed into a supermarket, resulting in one death and seven injuries.

A spokesperson for the Red Cross told AFP that despite emergency first aid, one person died.

She added that the injured have been sent to the hospital, two of whom are in serious condition. Authorities dispatched a large number of emergency response personnel to the scene.
