(Central News Agency, New York, 19th Comprehensive Foreign Dispatch) 11 high-level US scientists have mysteriously died or gone missing successively since 2022. Most of them were involved in nuclear science and space research, while some were connected to Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) research. US President Trump has promised to conduct an investigation.

The US Fox News channel today named Michael David Hicks (59), Frank Maiwald (61), Nuno Loureiro (47), Jason Thomas (45), Amy Eskridge (34), and Carl Grillmair (47), stating that these six passed away between 2022 and 2026, and all played crucial roles in significant scientific research.

The causes of death for Hicks and Maiwald are unknown; Grillmair was shot and killed outside his home on February 16 this year, and 29-year-old Freddy Snyder has been charged with his murder.

Loureiro was shot in his Massachusetts home in December 2025 and died of his injuries the day after the incident. His death was related to another mass shooting at Brown University.

Thomas was the deputy head of the chemical biology department at the multinational pharmaceutical group Novartis. He was seen leaving his home late one night, and three months later, his body was found in a lake in Massachusetts.

Eskridge was a researcher in Huntsville, Alabama, who died on June 11, 2022; the cause of death was suicide by gunshot.

The other five scientists were reported missing between 2023 and 2026, including Monica Reza (60), Melissa Casias (53), Anthony Chavez (79), Steven Garcia (48), and retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland (68), and all of their disappearances involve suspicious circumstances.

Some scientists vanished from their homes, while others disappeared on hiking trails and other public areas.

Although there seems to be no connection among these individuals in terms of work and research, an expert pointed out that more sinister factors might be at play behind the scenes.

Ufologist and retired physician Dr. Steven Greer, in an interview with Fox News Digital, stated: "These people may have disappeared because a very critical level of the federal government is conducting secret investigations."

"Some might have been taken away because they knew too much, or they chose to disappear themselves because they might be interrogated or even charged with various crimes."

Greer also pointed out another possibility: these scientists became targets of transnational criminal syndicates that are trying to keep their research from being made public.

Donald Trump has promised to investigate the mysterious disappearances and deaths of these scientists. He told reporters on the 16th: "I hope it's a random coincidence, but we will know the truth within the next week and a half. I just left a related meeting."

The US National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) previously separately told Fox News Digital that they are investigating these cases. (Compiled by: Yang Chao-yen) 1150420
